    My Story Is

     

    OUR CHALLENGE – We have a challenge accessing markets in China for trade and investment.

    GOALS TO OVERCOME OUR CHALLENGE

    a)  Find an ideal partner who can assist with our China market access challenge

    b)  Learn what an ideal China market access partner would consider as a mutually agreeable business plan to achieve production targets of annual physical output within the next five years as follows:

    1)  Palm Oil – 25 tons/ha from the current level of 10 tons/ha

    2)  Corn – 4 tons/ha from the current level of 1 ton/ha

    3)  Timber – harvest from standing inventory from current level of zero harvest

    4)  Abaca – 3 tons/ha tons from the current level of 0.5 tons/ha

    5)  Rattan – 500, 000 lineal meters from the current level of zero lineal meters

     

    PARTNER IDEAL ATTRIBUTES

    a)  Controls a business that needs to improve supply security of products that we produce.

    b)  Looking to invest US$5 million in a company like ours to ensure supply security for their demand chain.

    c)  Requires our key role to operate the business in the Philippines

    d)  Interested to start our dialogue by telephone or video call on Skype and able to conduct business in English.

    e)  Able to evolve our partnership to grow China market access future trade and investment.

     

    CURRENT BUSINESS SITUATION

    1)  Revenue for the past three years is Php7 Million.

    2)  Our auditor is Molina Partners.

    3)  97 people work at the company.

    4)  Development has started on only the first 50, 000 hectares.  The company owns 200, 000 hectares of tillable flat and rolling land (estimate) on a 500, 000 hectares total block. 300, 000 hectares will not be farmed because it is a protected conservation area.

    5)  Water flowing through irrigation infrastructure is sourced from three major rivers that feeds the Agusan River running through 3 provinces.

    6)  Road infrastructure is old logging roads and bridges built in the late 1960s that are functional and require updates

    7)  Mills are operational for timber, rattan and abaca located at Talacogon Export Processing Zone; and, corn mill located at La Paz, Agusan del Sur.
