AGRICULTURAL FOCUS
In Africa I am already trading agricultural products including coffee with farmers using digital currencies that include Bitcoin on transactions smaller than US$5, 000.
GOALS TO OVERCOME CHALLENGES
One commercial challenge African farmers face is their counterparties do not trust them to make payment.
A second challenge is that fees are too high to justify transaction if payment is executed by traditional banking systems.
One goal to overcome these challenge is to develop a new online process for trade finance and agricultural product verification in Africa.
A second goal is to help farmers trade directly with wholesale consumers.
The goal to achieve now by placing this story on Farms and Finance is to make it easier to go online to find commercially compatible people who share common interest and may want to help me achieve these goals that overcome these challenges.
ABOUT ME
I am an ex-JP Morgan derivative quant who was educated at MIT.
In Hong Kong now I am building a digital currency infrastructure connecting China and Africa in relation the current 5 year plan of China as well as Belt and Road.
